Better known as “La Noche en Blanco”, this event returns to Malaga after two years and will be held on 8th October, with the participatory spirit that has always characterised it. After two editions that could not be held due to the pandemic, this year the event will be resumed and the theme chosen by the citizens in 2020, which finally could not be developed, will be maintained: The four elements: fire, earth, water and air.

October 8th will once again be a day of art and culture for the enjoyment of citizens and visitors. The cultural proposals that will make up the Noche en Blanco are coordinated by the Culture Department of the City Council and are offered by public and private initiatives. The timetable for this edition will be from 19:00 to 24:00 hours.

The four elements: fire, earth, water and air will be the common thread of the 13th White Night 2022.

This theme was chosen by the citizens of Malaga in January 2020 in an open vote organised by the Department of Culture, in which 2,247 people took part. Voting took place via Facebook and in person at ballot boxes set up in the 11 municipal districts and the Municipal Archive. Given that the 2020 edition had to be suspended, the municipal delegation has decided to continue with what has been advanced and continue with the same theme.
