This exhibition is part of the international programme organised on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the death of Pablo Picasso (1973-2023).

This exhibition, gathering works from the Picasso Birthplace and Museum, other institutions and private collections in Spain, offers a chronological and stylistic tour of Picasso’s work, from his training years to his days with Jacqueline Roque. It shows paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics and photos, which together deliver a timeless image of the artist and wrap him in eternal relevance.

The exhibition pays tribute to Picasso in his hometown, the place where his amazing journey began. Grouped by ages and marking Picasso’s basic phases, the works in this exhibition show Picasso’s dynamic ability to express feeling and life in art.
