Old Warehouses of Félix Sáenz
20th Century. An Art Nouveau building built between 1912 and 1914 to a design produced by Manuel Rivera Vera. It is one of the most important buildings of this architectural style in Málaga. It blends Mediterranean modernist elements with neo-baroque styles. It highlights the tendency to turn the planes of the façades into valid architectural spaces and volumes.
The building has undergone two renovations, one in 1987 and another that began in 2005, but which lasted until 2011. A well-preserved Islamic burial ground containing 90 bodies was discovered under its foundations. Today it is a residential building with commercial premises.
