Continuing its efforts to dedicate shows to the masters of Russian art and their artistic and cultural context, the Russian Museum Collection presents a selection of the unique work of Nikolai Roerich, master of Russian symbolism and extraordinary figure in the cultural scene of his time. The show’s curator, Yevguenia Petrova, has selected more than 70 works from all the artist’s periods. The show will make it possible to discover the legacy of an artist who, in the manner of his admirer Tolstoy, aspired to be a master of peace and spirituality.
