Vice-Chancellor’s Office Exhibition Hall
The exhibition hall at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office stages contemporary art exhibitions by local, Spanish and international artists. Here viewers will find artworks that reflect new perspectives and novel contents (on subjects such as gender, otherness, diversity, and so on), as well as gems from private collections.
Opening hours: Mon-Sat 10am-2pm, 5pm-9pm; closed on Sundays, holidays and in August
Guided tours: Thursdays 7pm, Saturdays 12:30 noon
Sala de la Muralla (Phoenician Wall Exhibition Gallery)
The Sala de la Muralla, belonging to the University of Málaga Vice-Chancellor’s Office, is a permanent exhibition gallery that shows Málaga: One Time, All Times; One Traveller, All Travellers. This intervention introduces a global perspective of Málaga, the quay and the port ramparts, going 2700 years back in time, as the starting point for the travellers and sailors whose voyages led to the routes and exchanges that shaped the city as it is known today. This exhibition gallery is, in sum, a must in all sightseeing and cultural itineraries across Málaga.
