El Corte Inglés runs a cultural initiative, Ámbito Cultural, whereby it stages painting and sculpture exhibitions by local and Spanish artists, who thus have the chance of promoting their work and reaching a large audience. The exhibitions are organised by the Ámbito Cultural staff, who work side by side with the artists whose works are being shown.
