Christmas with the family: essential plans
For many, Christmas is one of the best festivities of the year. Shows of light, magic, nativity scenes, markets and much, much more come together in December and January with numerous activities ideal for enjoying in the best company, with the family.
One of the plans to enjoy outdoors is, without a doubt, to take the route around the Christmas trees located in different parts of the city, from the Plaza de la Constitución to calle Alcazabilla or parque de Huelin. Not to be missed is the impressive architectural projection or video mapping of the façade of the Cathedral. Until 4th January a multitude of Christmas images will be shown, with nods to the smells and flavours of Malaga and a soundtrack of bells, tambourines and the tinkling of bells.
Father Christmas also returns this year to Muelle Uno to receive and welcome the illusions of boys and girls. In addition, they will do so while enjoying the best Christmas music and with entertaining interactive games.
But, without a doubt, the most eagerly awaited moment for the little ones and the rest of the family is the arrival of Their Majesties from the East. These days Malaga is preparing for a Christmas milestone that begins with the Royal Postman in the Plaza de la Constitución on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of January, and culminates with the Parade in which Melchior, Gaspar and Balthasar are welcomed in a memorable parade laden with sweets and toys.
