Málaga Fair: What to eat
The best way to start your days at the fair is with a twist of flavours. Dining at the fair is a must. It is a social affair too. No day at the fair is complete without having a few tapas or raciones with your family or friends.
Traditional dishes to taste include ham and cheese, fried eggplants with cane honey – a real treat –, Spanish tortilla and deep-fried fish. As a side dish, order a fresh salad: finely chopped tomatoes, roasted bell peppers or Málaga mix.
To wash them down, you can choose a wine made in Málaga, a region that produces some of the greatest sweet wines. During the fair many people carry their own flasks to take a swig or two whenever they want. But remember to drink in moderation!
