Day celebrations at the Historic District
During Málaga Fair, the Historic District is the place to be if you want to be in the thick of things during the day. With Plaza de la Constitución as nerve centre, the Old Town comes to life, filled with colour and music.
The stalls ooze the spirt of the fair. The bars, coffee shops and restaurants serve the best local wines to wash down the most delicious tapas and raciones.
There would not be Málaga Fair without music. There is music for all tastes and styles, from the downtown performances by bands of verdiales along Calle Larios to traditional sounds at the fairground stalls to contemporary rhythms in pubs and nightclubs, which are open during the day for the fair.
In addition, there are concerts by local bands and artists in the city’s streets and squares. Landmarks like Plaza de las Flores o la Plaza del Obispo get filled with the sounds of pop and rock.
At sunset, action moves to La Malagueta Bullring, where the Bullfighting Fair gathers Spain’s most popular matadors.
