Day celebrations at the Historic District
Málaga Fair can be enjoyed under the sun and also by the moon. During the day, the Historic District fills with fun and laughter. With Plaza de la Constitución as nerve centre, the Old Town comes to life, filled with colour and music. The stalls ooze the spirit of the fair.
If you want to take a break, the bars, coffee shops and restaurants in the Old Town serve the best local wines to wash down the most delicious tapas and raciones.
There would not be Málaga Fair without music. There is music for all tastes and styles, from the downtown performances by bands of verdiales along Calle Larios to live concerts in Plaza de las Flores or Plaza del Obispo to contemporary rhythms in pubs and nightclubs, which are open during the day for the fair.
At sunset, the action moves to La Malagueta Bullring, where the Bullfighting Fair – one of the leading bullfighting events on the national calendar – gathers Spain’s most popular matadors.
All activities come to an end at 6pm in the Historic District.
