Málaga Convention Bureau

The Málaga Convention Bureau (MCB) is a Department of Málaga City Council's Tourist Board which specialises in the meeting tourism sector and whose basic aim is to promote the city as a destination for congresses, conventions and incentive trips. The Málaga Convention Bureau offers advice and a wide range of hotels and services to companies and agencies organizing conferences, meetings and incentive travel, that will make any event a success. We shall be happy to show you all the opportunities this urbane, natural, open, dynamic "Picassian" and Mediterranean city has to offer, and our services will help you get the very best from Málaga.

Due to its institutional nature, the  MCB, possesses extensive knowledge of the city in all matters pertaining to meetings and has forged close links with the companies in the sector.

The  MCB  operates in two main areas:

• Consultancy services and meeting organization.
• Promotion of the city of Málaga as a destination for meeting tourism.

As the MCB is a non-profit-making organization, its support and consultancy services are provided completely free of charge, with impartiality guaranteed.

• Activity programmes for incentive trips.
• Cultural and leisure programmes for delegates and companions.
• Tours of the city and excursions.
• Provision of maps and tourist brochures of the city for participants.
• Links to organisations and institutions in the city providing municipal and protocol services.
• Arrangement of inspection visits.

Logistical support for congress candidacies.

• Preparation of the candidacy dossier.
• Loan of graphic and audiovisual equipment.
• Assistance with the candidacy's presentation session by associate members.
• Help with the promotion of the congress once awarded.
• Coordination with the areas of the City Council.
• Arrangement of inspection visits.

Familiarisation trips

The MCB organises familiarisation trips so that different groups of professionals can see for themselves all that the city of Málaga has to offer in the field of meeting tourism.
